Decorating Contest Rules:
1-Participation is open to all Nibley residents.
2-Contest is limited to what can be seen from the street side of the house at night.
3-Submitting this entry form allows Nibley City Recreation permission to use any images and or video of the decorated home for promotional purposes.
4-Live people or animals are not allowed as part of the display. However, animated beings/creatures, dead people or animals, magical creatures including unicorns, ligers, donkey unicorns, Narwhal’s, and creatures from Harry Potter, actual ghosts, PIRATES, superhero’s and or villains, vampires, witches, wizards, aliens, wookies, Jedi, Stormtroopers, BIG FOOT, and zombies or anything like unto it are allowed. The Judges appreciate creativity and effects.
5-PLEASE Keep it Frightfully Fun- displays featuring anything racially inappropriate, a noose, or diabolic symbols will automatically be disqualified and will not be included in the Spooktacular self guided tour.
6-Category winners must proudly display the category lawn sign until Oct 31st

7-Top entries (as determined by the judges) will be included in the Nibley Halloween Spooktacular Tour made available online. The total number of entries included in the SPOOKtacular tour of Nibley may be limited to 20 or less as determined by Nibley City Staff and judges.
Deadline for all entries is Fri Oct 11th @ Midnight! Judging on Oct 12th & 14th 2024, with award presentations on Oct 15th & 16th (Judges decisions are final). Winners will be presented with fabulous prizes at their home generally in the late evening of Oct 15th or 16th, or will be contacted at the phone # and or e-mail provided. We request that participants keep their houses decorated through Halloween for the frightful delight of the community.

Judges
Individuals from Nibley and beyond including City Staff and Our Nibley Parks and Recreation Committee Members will evaluate entries for a variety of category awards which may include but are not limited to: (Theme, Overall presentation, Special Effects, Frightfully Fun, Witches Choice and More). Scores will be tallied and awards presented on on Oct 15th or 16th.
